Studio Vs. Location For Your Senior Portraits.

During this time of year, many upcoming high school seniors are trying decide what kind of portraits they would like. Many schools are now requiring the students to use the photographer they supply for their yearbook photo. But did you know, you do not have to purchase those photographs? You can have them taken elsewhere for a much more personalized look!
Now comes the decision:
DO I want studio shots or a location shoot?
Benefits to Studio Sessions:
1) No worries about the weather! No matter what is going on outside, you can rest assured your session will happen in a warm, dry studio!
2) You will have a place to change without worrying about using a public restroom!
3) Having control over the lighting can make for dramatic shots and nice even skin tones.

Benefits to a Location Session:
1) If you have a place that means something to you, it can make your session that much more personal.
2) So many more settings to play with and unique looks to create.
3) Late evening sun makes for beautifully lit portraits!

SO no matter which you pick there are benefits to both! It is just a matter of what style speaks to you the most!
